Thank you for such a great first year, Calgary! Unfortunately, we had some setbacks and started the year out late, but we are so glad that so many people got to try our berries this year! We hope to see you for more next year!

Guidlines

New picking buckets will be provided so no need to bring your own.

Sampling is encouraged, but please be respectful.

NO PETS. Please leave them in your vehicle.

NO SMOKING allowed anywhere on the premises.

Toilet facility is located to the right of the office.

Watch your footing. The ground may be rough, especially at the row ends.

You may want to bring drinking water, hat, insect repellent, and sunscreen to help ensure an enjoyable experience while picking.

Respect our home/farm by taking out everything you brought in.

How to pick:
-
Most of the berries are under the branches. Use one hand to hold the branch and the other to pick the berries.

Pick all the berries on your side of the bush before moving on to the next bush. It is much more efficient and faster than skimming a few berries from several bushes. It also helps ensure all pickers have bushes loaded with berries to pick, rather than bushes with only berries you left behind. Please do not waste fruit, and never shake the bushes.

The ripest and sweetest berries will be both purple and soft. If they are too hard, they will be very sour.

Try to walk on the grass only. Disturbing the vegetation-free tree rows spreads and promote weeds.
